| We owe the expression « La
Choquetterie » to the poet, Robert
Choquette. He entitled one of his poems as such; it was written
with Father Élisée Choquet in
mind, as an apology for not having been able to attend the 1965 Reunion.
Élisée long referred to “La Choquetterie” after the event.
Consequently, it was felt that the name would be quite appropriate for the Association’s newsletter; the Board of Administration seconded the motion in no time! Solange Choquette, the editor, is patiently waiting for your texts and/or photos. Don’t be shy and hurry to send him your input at journal[nospam]@choquet-te.org (remove [nospam] when writing) or by snail mail the Association's address. |
